MORE ABOUT ME
As a child I was very passionate about gymnastics and trained every day, always striving for greater fitness and discipline within the sport, which suited my slightly (?!) competitive nature. I was the only girl on the school football team and loved nothing more than making up routines, playing on my bike or wrestling with my brother and sisters.
As an adult, I became interested in Martial Arts, which was an area that I had been interested in pursuing for a long time. I began in Tae Kwon Do but then became pregnant with my first child. I then moved on to Kickboxing but became pregnant with my daughter! By this stage, the fire for fitness and Martial Arts had well and truly been lit again and so hearing about Wilkes Martial Arts from a friend I came in for a trial.
I have not looked back since that time. I love being involved within the family that is ‘Wilkes’. Training with like minded, passionate, positive and caring people. I love being able to push my fitness and am always humbled by the skill set that each person has to offer.
Being able to train with my three children as well is a dream come true. To be able to share this passion with them and watch them grow in all areas of their Martial Arts journey and to witness the effect it has had on their everyday life brings me a huge amount of joy.
