Wilkes Martial Arts and Fitness Academy had the pleasure of sponsoring Melville Primary Schools P&C’s local community day. This was a great opportunity for us to get out and support our local community and we certainly had a great afternoon out on the school’s oval. From my personal point of view, It was such a great thing to see the people of our great community come together and have such a great time.
The bush band was there in full swing. They had the kids and adults up and dancing. We even learnt a new way to perform a common martial arts kick.
There was a bouncy castle and kids running around playing footy with their friends and families. Another local business with a coffee van came down to share the love, which was great to see. Throw in a sausage sizzle and some awesome Melville council based families and we had the perfect family evening out.
Our friends at Melville Animal Hospital (www.melvet.com.au) were the other major sponsor of this event and is really good to see other local businesses in the area jumping on board to support our local school.
Many of our martial arts kids attend Melville Primary and we would like to take this opportunity for you the reader to hear us extend a big thank you to the staff at Melville Primary School, all the parents, and a special thank you to the Melville Primary P&C for giving us the opportunity to sponsor this event.
